Belmont Christmas Parade/ Addisyn's 1st Parade :)

Today was the Belmont Christmas Parade :) It was Addisyn's first parade! Brian got off work early so he could be in the parade with us- he is such a good sport- he even wore the dance shirt- we sure do love him :) We saw several family members on the parade route giving Addisyn some support- Grandpa W. (Dave), Great Grandma Neff, and Grandma P. (my mom). Addisyn met with her dance group (CDE= Carolina Dance Explosion) at First Baptist Church at 3pm. We lined up around 3:45 and sat in the limo for quite a while before we actually started moving. Addisyn ran all over the limo and talked up a storm. When we finally started she sat on my lap and yelled out the window- she was soooo excited! She waived and screamed at people along the way :) The older girls danced in front of the limos- they did an excellent job! At the end of the 4 1/2 mile parade route the limo driver dropped us off and we were- to say the least-stranded. Thanks to my mom and Grandma N for coming and picking us up- we would have had to walk the 4 1/2 miles back to our car in the dark (and it was cold too). Next year we will know that we need to have a car parked on both ends. Anyways, below are pictures and videos from the event. Tomorrow is the Mt. Holly Christmas Parade but they are calling for a 100% chance of precipitation, so I do not think we will be going :(

After the parade, a run to Taco Bell, dropping off Great Grandma N, a diaper change at Great Grandma/pa P's house, and picking up our car from the Church (thanks to my mom for dropping us off at our car), Addisyn enjoys the show Backyardigans on the DVD player and eats a cheese taco on the way home...
