My sister, Kim, and her hubby came up for a visit this weekend. We squeezed in as much "DC' as possible into their 2 day visit: Jones Point Light, national monuments, a ride on the metro, Fort Washington, and the National Harbor! Here are some pictures from our wonderful weekend!
We had a double date at the National Harbor. We ate at Redstone, which is waterfront and has delicious food!! We ended the evening with a trip over to the new Tanger Outlets :)
You can't leave DC without seeing Fort Washington! This is by far my favorite historical site to take people to!
You also can't leave DC without actually seeing DC! We lucked out getting to go inside the Washington Monument without tickets! The ranger felt sorry for Addisyn, so he let us go on in ;)
We love Jones Point Park and Jones Point Light. There are 2 nice playgrounds, covered areas under the bridge to play (it was raining, so the kids rode their scooters under the bridge), and the historic light house!
I had to take a few pictures this morning when I picked Addisyn up from school. She showed Caleb around the school, checking out new bulletin boards and showing Caleb her artwork :)
