Play Time!

Addisyn loves to play- indoors and out! She drags her baby around the house and says "oooohhhh" and pats it's head. She also rides around the house on her giraffe, plays with her musical instruments (pots, pans, and spoons), and climbs into her tent and tunnel. Outside she plays ball (more recently Football- Daddy introduced it to her), she picks up leaves, flowers, and sticks, and she runs around and yells at the dog!

Museum Pictures...

Everyone always asks "what does a 1 year old do at the museum?" so I figured I would post a few pictures from today's trip to the museum. We bought the membership a little over a month ago and we make our weekly trip on Tuesday mornings :) Our energetic 13-month-old points and talks about the exhibits. She instructs me to pick her up so she can see the turtles in the turtle tanks or the fish in the touch pond.

Wilbur Family Reunion

This past weekend we took off for WV for my family reunion (my mom's side). It took us about 7 hours to get there, but Addisyn did excellent in the car. We stopped twice both ways for her to get out and run around at rest stops. She napped for a few hours and spent the rest of the time in the car watching "Backyardigans" and "Sesame Street" on the DVD player. We spent time in the hotel meeting room, swimming, and placing bets at the horse race (which was conveniently close). Here are a few pics that sum up our weekend..

Sunday

This morning at church Pastor Dale was reading some of those "Dear God" prayers (prayers from small children) and they were so cute! He had a good sermon too :) My mom has been doing the 1 year old nursery, so Addisyn had some fun quality time with Grandma. It is nice leaving her and not having her cry. Anyways, we did go by and meet Grey, my cousin's baby. He is 8 pounds now, but he is still sooo tiny! It is hard to believe Addisyn was ever small like that! Here are some recent pics...

Ahh Ahh Ahh Choooo!

Addisyn got a kick out of me sneezing :) After I "Ahh Ahh Ahh Choo" Sneezed a few times she started saying "Ahh Ahh Ahh" and waited for me to say "Choo" it was so funny! Here are a few videos of us sneezing (and laughing really hard!)...

Getting closer to fall...

Autumn is my favorite of the 4 seasons. I love the beautiful changing leaves and how it is not too hot or too cold :) Brian and I have both registered for grad classes. I am taking 4 next semester (at UNCG) and Brian is taking 1 (NCSU)- in grad school 2 classes is considered full time. Brian has only 3 classes left after the fall 2009 semester :) Anyways, our laptops are in a sense "broken". We put virus software on both of our laptops and the software disabled the CD burner, most of the programs on the computer, and then disappeared so it cannot be uninstalled! We bought a desktop over the weekend, but we can't wipe our laptops and reinstall the back up discs until we remove all of our photos and videos onto an external hard drive (all of Addisyn's baby videos and pics). I have some excellent videos of Addisyn that I cannot upload b/c this laptop won't let me, so I will upload them after I put the camera's software onto the desktop. Some pics will have to do for now...
