Greetings from Horry County! Where you will find the dirtiest bottoms in SC!

We took off for the beach over Spring break! It was a much needed vacation! We stayed at a beautiful resort- indoor water park, 2 outdoor heated lazy rivers, ocean front, and lots of other kids for Addisyn to "friend"! Here are some pictures from our week...

We visited the Children's Museum of South Carolina at the beach...

Parent and Me Dance at the J. Paul Ford Recreation Center in Belmont

Today at dance we were supposed to be getting professional pictures done, but our photographer came down with a terrible illness and had to cancel on us at the last minute :( One of the parents had a camera and a backdrop of sorts, so we did our own photo session with the kids before dance class :) We were also surprised by a visit from the Belmont Banner newspaper's reporter!It all worked out!

This is the class that I teach at the J. Paul Ford Rec Center in Belmont- it is a free "Parent and Me" style dance class for children ages 1-5 and their parents. I truly enjoy volunteering my time to teach this :)

Babies, Babies, and More Babies!

So if you haven't heard Kari, Kristen and I are all prego at the same time- along with our cousin Stephanie. Brian and I are excited! I am due around October 30th- I have my first OB appointment on April 5th, so I will post more after my appointment. This go 'round I am delivering at Carolina Community Maternity Center in Fort Mill, SC using a midwife- I am going to have a water birth! You can check out their website: http://carolinabirth.org/


We threw Stephanie a baby shower while everyone was together for her brother's graduation (Chris). Here are some pictures from the event:

And here is a little Art by Mommy :) lol. Addisyn wants to change her bedroom theme to Hello Kitty. I didn't feel like painting her entire room to get rid of the ocean theme, so I just added Hello Kitty in a bathing suit with a face mask swimming. Now we can add Hello Kitty decor to her room and it won't look out of place :)...

Asheville

We are no strangers to Asheville! We have been so many times that we have a routine now- Biltmore Estate, Antler Hill Village, Fun Depot, and we always end with WNC Nature Center. We had free Biltmore tickets, so Ben and Linda met up with us at the Biltmore, and my mom came along too! Addisyn thoroughly enjoyed having Me-Me and Grandma up there with her :) Here are a few pics of our outings...

Last time we stayed at Brookstone Lodge (they have an indoor pool and are next door to the Fun Depot), but this time we stayed at Baymont Inn and Suites of Asheville (which is next to a Texas Roadhouse and also has an indoor pool)...




Asheville's Fun Depot (playing some mini-golf)...



Antler Hill Village's Farm (there was a 3-month-old goat named Annie that Addisyn was thrilled about!)...

Lowe's Home Improvement Build and Grow Project (we stopped at a Lowe's store on our way to Asheville so Addisyn could build a castle with Daddy and get another patch for her apron)...
