Tugaloo State Park Camping

We spent the last 5 days camping at Tugaloo State Park on Lake Hartwell in Georgia. It was quite hot (in the 90s and humid with no wind), and a box fan in a tent doesn't offer much relief. Anyways, it was nice getting to visit with Brian's side of the family and for Addisyn to get to meet everyone. Addisyn went tubing for the first time too! (Pictures below)

On another note, I feel like I have not updated on any of Addisyn's milestones in quite some time. Around 22 months she started speaking 2 word sentences, and she has now progressed to 3 word sentences, well over 100+ words in her vocabulary, and a variety of nonverbal communication skills have emerged as well. She can now smile upon request and jump with both feet off the ground. She loves jewelry (specifically the new 'silly bands' that are quite popular), shoes, purses, and of course reading. She can identify and name her numbers 1-10 and her entire alphabet (and they don't have to be in order for her to do it either!). She knows all her colors and loves to color with crayons, colored pencils, and finger paint (where she learned that red+yellow= orange, blue+yellow=green, and red+blue= purple, so she makes her own colors too). She also understands opposites (like up/down, big/small), she is starting to sing songs, she now points out "boy" or "girl", and she can read common words like "up" "uh-oh" and "go" in her books. She surprises us every day and is incredibly smart! I could write about her all day!
