Quick Update :)

Poor Addisyn has been quite sick this week. She had a fever of 103.2 Friday, and she just felt miserable. She slept on and off every hour or so Friday and Saturday. We took her to Huntersville (where the other pediatric office is) to see the Dr. on Saturday. She would not eat or drink anything. The dr. said it was some form of hand-foot-mouth disease (not to be confused with hoof and mouth disease, which is a virus only animals get- these are two completely different viruses). Anyways, she wasn't eating or drinking b/c she had ulcers in her mouth and throat, sores on her hands and feet, and a rash over her entire body. Today she ate her first real meal since the onset of her sickness. She has no fever and her appetite is back in full force :) She still has a rash on her body, but the dr. said it can take a week to go away. HFMD virus is contagious for a week after the onset of symptoms, so no play dates for Addisyn until after Thursday.

I will post updates and pictures soon! Oh and I did sit down during her nap this afternoon and start writing out Christmas cards :)

PS. Dave posted some pics on his blog of us walking through McAdenville's Christmas lights and also of Addisyn in the Belmont Christmas Parade with her Dance Class. What a nice grandpa to come out and support the little dancers :)
