On Saturday we went with Brian's Dad, Katie, and Ben to the Discovery Place to see the "Body Worlds" exhibit....it was awesome! The exhibit consists of hundreds of real bodies that have been plasticized and put onto display in different ways. Some show the skeletal structure, the muscles, veins and arteries, organs, and even fetuses. There was one body that was cut straight down the middle so you can see what the inside of everything looks like! Discovery Place describes it as "the only anatomical exhibition that relies on the generosity of body donors" and "The exhibition features more than 200 authentic human specimens- including individual organs, transparent body slices and whole-body plastinates- that have been preserved through the remarkable process of Plastination."
