I wanted to update with some pictures of what we have been doing around here! Arts 'n crafts, baking, and having some fun!

Riverbanks Zoo

Today we took Addisyn (4 yrs), Caleb (2 months), and Kyla (5 yrs) to the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, SC. What an awesome zoo! The girls enjoyed horseback riding, the train, the carousel, and of course the animals! It was 84 degrees!!! Is it really January???

Caleb had his 6 week well check this afternoon. He is now 21 1/2 inches long (19 inches at birth) and weighs 10 pounds 1 ounce (6 pounds 6 ounces at birth). He falls into the 15th percentile for height and 25th percentile for weight. To help with Caleb's colic he is taking a probiotic for the next week. He also went to the chiropractor today (sounds crazy, right?)- we were told by several parents that their kids colic went away after seeing a chiropractor (it was worth a try!). He has had a rough evening, but he was pretty good this morning! He smiled really big for me several times and even let out a really loud laugh!

Addisyn is doing well too. She has become Miss Independent! She CAN do it herself :) Tomorrow after gymnastics Addisyn and I are going to have some special time together. She is going to pick out where we go for lunch and dessert, and then we will be going shopping :) She hinted towards Chuck E Cheese, so I have a feeling that is on the agenda for tomorrow as well :)

Caleb is 3 weeks old!

It is hard to believe Caleb is 3 weeks old already. He went back on Day 2 for a well check and weighed in at 6 pounds even. 1 week later he weighed in at 6 pounds 5 ounces, and on Monday he weighed in at 7 pounds 9 ounces! He has his newborn hearing screening on December 12th and then the following week will have his 6 week well check. After that we will begin taking him to the pediatrician. Anyways, here is a picture of him having some tummy time:
