A trip to Dan Nicholas Park, a dance performance, and a birthday celebration!

This past week has been very busy! To begin, our new adopted cat, Cody, has been very sick. With severe diarrhea and not eating anything at all, we landed in the vet office, where after talking with the shelter, the vet came to the conclusion that it might be Giardia (google it, how gross! We are as sterile as a hospital over here now!). After $100 there, he has come down with a respiratory infection, which of course is not helping his appetite either- back to the vet tomorrow... On another note, we took Addisyn to Dan Nicholas Park in Salisbury. What an awesome park! It is well worth the drive- a train, a carousel, "Wildlife Adventure" (bears, bob cats, deer, etc.), and the petting barn. Oh, and did I mention the awesome playgrounds?? A day's worth of fun! On Saturday Addisyn's dance class performed at the Belmont Fall Festival- the festival was very nice and all the dancers did a great job, but Addisyn clung tight to me and did not show off her lovely dancing :( However, after her performance was over, she came back into the crowd and danced for us! Anyways, today is Cayden's 1st birthday. Hosted by Kristen and Kyle, the party was a lot of fun- with awesome balloons and treat bags! Here are some pictures from the week:

Riverbend Pumpkin Farm

We took Addisyn to the Riverbend Pumpkin Farm this weekend. It was awesome! Unfortunately, Addisyn was sick this weekend (the runny nose stuff), so she was stuck trying to breathe out of her mouth and was a little unhappy, bless her heart! She was excited about going down the big slides and taking the tractor ride out to the pumpkin patch. Here are some pictures of our day...

Meet Cody, our new neutered/declawed cat...

Addisyn is in love with Cody! He has a great personality and is not bothered by the jumping, screaming, chasing, tugging, and dropping that Addisyn has put him through :) We adopted him on Saturday from Petco.

I am babysitting a little girl, Hailey. The other day I had Addisyn, Hailey, and Cayden. They all played together really well. Here is proof... ;)


Did I mention that Addisyn loves to play outside? Did I mention that we let her play in the rain? She had a lot of fun playing in the rain...
