Update

Good News: We close on Cramerton house Monday at 2 pm

Bad News: We were not under contract with the Jefferson Woods house and the bank took another offer (this was a shock to us!) The bank had accepted our offer but wanted $1,000 earnest money instead of $500, so I wrote a check for $1,000 and we thought that was it. Apparently the bank had not signed it, so it wasn't a legal contract. We offered $7,000 more than the sale price and said we would pay our own closing costs, so it is hard to believe! Maybe the realtor did not get our stuff into the bank??

We have put our offer back in on the Hearth Stone house (so maybe we will get it- we sure hope so!) Otherwise the house hunt continues...

We have moved!

We cleared out our Cramerton house this past weekend (thanks to everyone who helped- we really appreciate it!). We have a contract on a house in Jefferson Woods- to close by April 28th, so we are temporarily lodging with Brian's Dad :) We were supposed to close on our Cramerton house today, but the guy's loan paper work was not at the attorney's office, so they have moved the closing to Friday. We really hope everything works out and we are able to close on the Cramerton house (we really don't want to lose our earnest money on the Jefferson Woods home)- lots of stress on this end (pray for us).
To add to everything, poor Addisyn was sick last week- we got the nebulizer again from the dr. I have been sick too, went to Dr yesterday and was told it is bronchitis- within 24 hours of antibiotics my lungs were not "on fire" anymore- my lungs hurt sooooo bad and it was making my asthma act up too. Hopefully all these germs will go away!

My phone is M.I.A.

That is correct, my phone is missing in action! If you try to call me you will get a message stating my phone is temporarily unavailable (or something similar). My phone disappeared at work :( Anyways, we went to Chimney Rock this past weekend for a family vacation. We stayed in a jacuzzi suite at the Lake Lure Inn and Spa (very nice). Addisyn was excellent! She really seemed to have a good time. Here are some pics...

Happy Birthday it is snowing!

Today is Brian's birthday. We had a small gathering at my mom's house and ate some cake. It started sleeting and then came the snow :) This is Addisyn's first snow- we had to get a few pictures! Oh, and Addisyn turned 8 months old on Friday! Beth and her fiance came to visit- we shopped at the Concord Arena- where a huge children's consignment sale was going on. We will post again soon!

Snow!

7 Months is a FUN age! :)

Addisyn is growing so quickly- it is hard to believe our 16 pounder was only 6 pounds 1 ounce when we left the hospital! She is very active- she crawls at super fast speeds, she stands up whenever she can, and she has begun to stand up without holding onto other things. She has learned how to get back down to the floor from the standing position (instead of just falling over)- this was a huge accomplishment for little Addisyn :) Addisyn is also eating real solid foods (not just the baby food and baby cereal)- she loves the Gerber Yogurt drops and the Gerber Puffs. She is also a big fan of the Biter Biscuits. We are still working on the sippy cup- the Dr. suggested we put water in it but she is not a big fan of that at this moment.

Brian started his new job this week (he is also working the evening shift at FedEx through the end of the month) so he has been quite exhausted these past few days. He is working for the City of Charlotte as an Environmental Program Inspector- this job is required by the EPA. His shift is Monday- Thursday (4 10 hour days). Kari is our Nanny and when she has class Grandpa (Dave) watches the baby. I really miss Addisyn during the day, so I drove home at lunch today (but by the time I got home I only had about 15 minutes before I had to go back). I left a freshly pumped bottle for her and was able to breastfeed quickly. Addisyn was really happy to see me and it was sad having to leave her :( At least on Friday Brian and Addisyn can come eat lunch with me :)

The person buying our house had it inspected last week. We got the report back- there are a few things we need to do (caulking on the outside of some windows and cleaning out the basement etc.) We hope to get a closing date soon :) We are still looking for a new home for us- just haven't found one yet.

Our Lil' One is quite a character!

Addisyn is so much fun. She crawls and stands up. She gets inside her toy box and plays with her toys. She laughs, coos, and keeps us quite entertained. She says "mama" very clearly and has recently learned to say "hi" (though it sounds more like a hhh but we know what she is saying). Here a a few recent pics...
