30 Week Prego Pictures!

More 3D/4D Ultrasound Pics :)

Today we had our 3D/4D ultrasound re-do and got some pretty good pics :) Caleb's heart rate was 155 and he is finally head down! Here were my favorites:


He is rubbing his eyes in this picture- you can see his nose and his lips. Notice also his leg and foot at the bottom of the picture. He likes to be all crunched up :)

 

 

I am now on 2-week prenatal appointments, so I know I nearing the end of my pregnancy. A little scary!! It has just gone by so fast this time! I had a bunch of blood work done at my appointment on Thursday (to check iron, glucose, and the rh factor thingy).

3D/4D Ultrasound

We had a 3D/4D ultrasound done, but little Caleb was not very cooperative so we have been rescheduled to come back in 2 weeks to hopefully get some cute chubby cheek pictures! He had his legs directly in front of his face and his feet above his head, so all we could see was a side profile, oh and he also had the hiccups! Here are a few images that we did obtain...


You can see his legs in front of his face (pointed upward and his feet above his forehead)...

 In this picture his face is actually smushed up against his shins and his feet are resting on his forehead. Poor little guy! He is still small enough to put his feet down though...

 

Here is one more and no there is not actually a hole in the side of his head :)

We will post again after our next prenatal appointment (8/16) and the ultrasound (8/18). Caleb has not flipped head down yet, so pray that he does it soon!!

Big Sister Preparation Class :)

Today Addisyn had her Big Sister Preparation Class at CMC (even though we will actually be delivering at Carolina Community Maternity Center instead of the hospital). She learned how to hold a baby, change a diaper, and even weigh a baby :) We bought her a Bitty Baby, which she is thrilled about! While we were at the hospital Addisyn even overcame her fear of the elevator and rode on it over and over again (this is a HUGE deal!). So proud! She is excited and ready for her little brother to arrive :)

Our next Prenatal appointment is in just a few weeks and they will be checking iron/ glucose and verifying that I am indeed A+.

From the Riverbanks Zoo to the NC Mountains, Happy 4th of July!

We headed to Columbia, SC to the Riverbanks Zoo on the 4th of July to celebrate Addisyn's friend's birthday! After 4 hours of severe heat (103, 70% humidity) we decided to head back home for our traditional 4th of July celebration with my family. Here are a few pics from the zoo...

Kim kept Kyla (Laura's daughter) overnight, so we hooked up for a day-long play date. A few highlights: playing in the indoor playground at McDonalds, swimming, and ice cream in downtown Belmont. Here is a pic of the girls (Kyla was being a bit camera shy and didn't want to look at the camera lol)...

Addisyn got a make-up kit for her birthday, so if you would like a "Happy Makeover" just let her know. She will be more than happy to help you out! Just look here...

We spent this past weekend in Chimney Rock. The camera died after just a few pics, but here is what I did get...

I am 24 weeks pregnant and I have a belly! We have a prenatal appointment next Friday, ultrasound next week, and we start Labor Relaxation Techniques (a birthing class) next week too. Here is the baby, or "Caleb Niles" as Addisyn wants to name him. Caleb is fine, not sure about Niles lol Maybe Caleb Parker??...

Happy 4th Birthday Addisyn!

I can't believe Addisyn will be 4 years old tomorrow!! We celebrated her birthday this past weekend since Kari, Cayden, and Natalie were in town. Above are some pictures of the big event! Addisyn is such a beautiful, sweet, caring young lady. We are so blessed to have her in our lives!
